Israeli Strike Kills 22 In Beirut, Hezbollah Leader ‘Escapes’; Iran-Backed Group Fires 190 Rockets

Israeli forces bombed central Beirut with a deadly airstrikes on October 10 evening. Lebanon's health ministry said 22 people were killed and 117 others were injured. The Israeli airstrikes were aimed at targeting a senior Hezbollah member. Reuters said Wafiq Safa, Hezbollah’s Liason and Coordination Unit chief, was said to be the target but he managed to escape. Meanwhile, Israeli forces intensified ground ops in southern Lebanon.
