Trump's Defence chief Hegseth shocks Zelensky with biggest anti-Ukraine move

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth appeared before the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee on June 10, marking it his first major congressional testimony since taking office in January 2025. Lawmakers questioned Hegseth about the Trump administration's defense budget proposal, recent military deployments within the US as well as the Pentagon's priorities.
